Grammy nominated trumpeter Christian Scott has wasted no time in establishing himself as an innovative and entertaining new musical voice. Having played professionally since his early teens, the New Orleans native continues to break down musical barriers by combining elements from the worlds of hip hop, jazz and even indie rock.

At only 22 years of age Christian’s debut CD, Rewind That, earned him a Grammy nomination. His follow-up release on Concord Records, Anthem, earned him even more widespread critical acclaim and also the attention of major musical figures like jazz piano icon McCoy Tyner, with whom Christian has been touring as featured guest. Christian was recently featured on PRINCE’s new album and has worked with many prominent hip hop artists.
