Jesse Harris is a groundbreaking singer / songwriter / guitarist from NYC. In 2003, he won a Song Of the Year Grammy for Norah Jones' rendition of "Don't Know Why." In fact, he wrote five songs for the CD and was featured on guitar.

His first CD's came in the 90's as part of the duo Once Blue (EMI) and later released five albums with The Ferdinandos. Jesse's newest album "Watching The Sky" was released on Secret Sun Recordings in March 2009

His songs have been recorded by countless artists, including Madeleine Peyroux, Lizz Wright and Pat Metheny. As a guitarist he has played on a wide range of albums. He has just completed the soundtrack and score for the upcoming Ethan Hawke film The Hottest State, which features interpretations of his songs by many great artists, including Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Bright Eyes, The Black Keys, Cat Power.
